Opening Day: Friday, May 10th, 2024

Proud to be in our 25th season!

We are looking forward to a full season of tours and rentals, including kayaks, canoes and SUPs! We are excited to share our love of paddling and our beautiful scenery with our guests!

We will be offering 2 tour times per day, and the first tour booked will be filled first, then possibly adding a second tour, if needed or requested.

To begin with, we will be taking bookings directly with us by email or phone for the month of May.

We plan on opening our online booking at the beginning of May for the months of June, July and August. Until then, please book all tours directly with us.

All rentals must be booked directly with us.

2024 is a special year for us, marking our 25th Year of Operation!

Terry started out on his own with building 6 handcrafted single wood kayaks, and offering lessons to beginner kayakers.

Along with my wife and partner, Wenche (pronounced Venka), we have grown this company through our love of kayaking, and our continued desire to share our beautiful surroundings with others!

Over the past 25 years we have been thrilled to welcome guests from across Canada and from all around the world, and with helping them make wonderful memories of their trip to Canada.

We appreciated and enjoyed meeting so many interesting people and travellers who came out for a tour or rented kayaks, canoes or SUPs.

Trip Advisor has presented us with two of their most coveted awards! In 2019 we were inducted into the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame, celebrating businesses who have achieved their Certificate of Excellence 5 years running. And in 2020, 2021 AND 2023, we were extremely proud to be presented with the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award, which is based on excellent reviews, ratings, and saves.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has joined us on our journey so far, and we look forward to welcoming our guests in the 2024 season!

Our Mission Statement

Our goal is to help you enjoy your vacation experience to its fullest. We do that by helping you interact with our beautiful pristine natural environment. All of our tours and lessons are designed to take advantage of some of the interior’s most spectacular glacier and mountain views. Add to this paddling in custom-made wooden kayaks that are silent, stable and a joy to paddle and your one of a kind “Natural Escape” is complete!

We offer a variety of tours and lessons designed for beginners to advanced paddlers. Whether there’s two of you or a group, we can give you a memorable experience.

Hubby and i had a beautiful day with these guys. We had a perfect day with clear skies and the water was like glass. Hosts were fantastic and very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the hand made boats and home made granola bars. Suitable for all levels and all gear provided was good. A beautiful experience. The scenery was amazing.
